May is probably the hardest month of the year for me.... Eight years ago my dad passed away on May 7th. Every year I accept it a little bit more but all the emotions of that day come back to me.. Oh I miss that man I miss the little things that he did. My sister the other day asked me to list the things about dad that I remember and miss.


My list
He made the best carmel popcorn.
He loved the titanic song by Celine Dion.
He sang a song he made up called Cruel hearted man.
He started his truck in his garments.
He would open all the windows in the winter to air out the house or the car.
He would tickle my ear and my hand to get me to go to sleep even when I was a teenager.
He loved armorall.
We had the nicest yard in the neighborhood.
He cleaned my room for me and made my bed.
He spoiled us anything we wanted he gave us.
He was such a hard worker.
He loved us.
He ate everything out of bowls chips candy etc.
He would get a glass of milk drink some of it and leave the milk and cup in the fridge with a milk ring around the cup.
He loved pepsi and taco amigo meat burritos.
He always wore baseball shoes.
He loved to hunt and fish.
He snored.
He would get the wood burning stove so hot you could not stand to be in the house.
He had a permed mullett growing up.
He worked for Utah power and light and I thought he was cool.
